Catholic devotions are prayers and practices that help you grow closer to God outside the Mass. They include the Rosary, Eucharistic Adoration, novenas, Scripture reading, honoring the Saints, and simple habits like blessing yourself with holy water. We do not treat them as magic shortcuts or extra-credit assignments. They help us bring faith into daily life and keep our attention on Jesus.
Try one devotion that fits your season of life: pray one decade of the Rosary on a walk, ask a Saint to pray for you before a hard task, or spend ten quiet minutes before the Blessed Sacrament. The Catechism says popular devotions should lead us toward the liturgy, especially the Eucharist (CCC 1675). In other words, devotions support your faith life, not turn it into a spiritual to-do list with color-coded tabs.
